I got this Dark Garden (!!!) ensemble off of FB marketplace. It's probably the best deal I've ever found, as the corset alone is currently on their site for $1k+, and I got this skirt + corset set for $40. It was originally a wedding dress, and I wish I could see those photos! This lady must have been the coolest vampire goth bride ever. The seller was the (former?) mother in law of the bride, and I didn't ask any questions, but the it felt like there was no ill will between her and the bride, as she said she was selling it after holding on to it for her for a number of years.
I'm very glad that I happened upon it, and I'm sure it'll stay in my wardrobe for many many years.
The 'bustle' portion was made by me out of two skirts I found at the thrift store that approximated the shantung silk look of the skirt.
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) has always been a favorite movie of mine, with the most gorgeous costuming. Lucy is a big source of style inspiration, and this ensemble made me feel like I was channeling her.

I can't wait to wear this corset again...maybe for halloween!!
