Ceb and I love Star Trek, and especially TOS, for all the vintage camp and fun costuming. I made my dress years ago, but just around a month before SDCC I saw that there was a 10 Forward pop up, and decided to make a tunic for Ceb to wear.
If you have any interest in making your own Star Trek costume, crscrafts sells the screen accurate velour of the first season costumes!
As always, our photographer roommate Mako took the official looking fancy pics, then we took selfies and some fellow trekkies snapped some for us at the event.

Ceb made and cut their wig from scratch, and mine is a combo of a basic lace front from the beauty store with an actually 1960s hairpiece for the braided portion! I found it at an estate sale.
